We have a variety of fitness training options to meet your personal needs and health goals. To get started, check out the training program below that is best suited for you!

Personal Training

Receive an individualized fitness program specifically designed for you. Our personal trainers deliver an efficient workout program with innovative ways to improve your health and fitness through instruction on correct form and technique. Each personal training package allows you and your trainer to set goals and a training plan to achieve them. Come train with us in person at the Student Recreation Center! â–º

  2. Make sure you have completed . (If you did not complete when prompted during purchase)
  3. Once this is completed, you may qualify for our POWER program. Please see "special programs & accommodations" for more information.
  4. You may be asked to fill out the Medical Clearance Form.
  5. Once completed, a member of the Fitness & Wellness team will review your paperwork and contact you to connect you with your trainer!

Personal Training is a paid service & an active membership to the Student Recreation Center is required to participate. Please complete the health history form & contract on the previous tab prior to paying for a training package.

People Overcoming Obstacles with Exercise and Recreation (P.O.W.E.R.)

Participate in accessible and adapted recreational opportunities under the supervision of Â鶹¹ú²úAV doctoral physical therapy students. People Overcoming Obstacles with Exercise and Recreation (P.O.W.E.R.) is a program designed to serve the needs of those with special health conditions (i.e. heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, physical and sensory limitations, post-rehabilitation, or other individual health concerns).

In order to participate, participants must obtain medical clearance from a doctor. After clearance is obtained, individualized programs are designed based on an initial assessment of the participant. From there, exercise assistance, supervision and progression is provided.

Small Group Training

Â鶹¹ú²úAV Small Group Training offers a unique opportunity to explore a different dimension of fitness by merging group exercise with personal training. Receive personalized training, encouragement, and opportunities to progress in your fitness skills in 5-week long small group classes with the same fit fam and a motivating coach. â–º

Women on Weights is a small group training program designed to ensure that female-identifying participants feel comfortable and confident in the weight room. The participants of WoW will take on the Student Recreation Center fit floor as a team alongside their coach. Throughout the session, team members focus on functional movement patterns designed to increase muscular strength and endurance for daily life activities, improved mobility, better posture, and increased neural control. If you are looking to become stronger, exercise more efficiently, and have fun in an inclusive atmosphere, this is the group for you.

This group meets in the Student Recreation Center at the Monarch Training Zone. This is on the first floor near the front of the building where there is a half wall that sections off barbells, pull up bars, rubber plates, and more.

Interested in mastering the 3 main lifts: deadlift, squat, and bench press? Sign up for Intro to Powerlifting to learn how to perform these movements with proper form and execution as well as learn tips and tricks to build and improve your strength. This program is perfect for anyone, from those who are new to these movements to those who are considering participating in the Â鶹¹ú²úAV Powerlifting Competition in April.

This group meets in the Student Recreation Center at the Monarch Training Zone. This is on the first floor near the front of the building where there is a half wall that sections off barbells, pull up bars, rubber plates, and more.

FAAST provides a comprehensive and structured strength training program to enhance physical well-being, improve overall health, and promote a positive work/life balance.

This group meets in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) at the Monarch Training Zone. This is on the first floor near the front of the building where there is a half wall that sections off barbells, pull up bars, rubber plates, and more.
